How It Works

Days and Times

I teach from Monday to Friday (including bank holidays) and at all times of day.

Lesson Duration and Frequency

The minimum lesson duration I offer is 1 hour.

I find that 1 hour usually works best, however longer lessons can also work well for some students.

Most of my students have one lesson per week, however some do have two or more lessons per week – especially if we are working on multiple subjects (e.g. Chemistry and Maths).

Location

I usually teach my students either at their homes or online (usually via Zoom). But I am open to teaching in other locations if needed.

Payment

I ask that you pay by bank transfer at the end of each month for all of that month’s lessons. However, I am open to other arrangements (e.g. if you would like to pay after each lesson).

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a lesson, I ask that you please give me at least 24 hours notice, but ideally longer. The more notice I have the better, as this gives me the opportunity to plan ahead and potentially offer the slot to another student.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, I will still charge for it.

If you cancel with 24 hours notice or more, my preference would be that we reschedule the lesson for another day/time. However, I appreciate this will not always be possible and sometimes you may need to simply cancel.

All I ask is that you try to anticipate any cancellations as far in advance as possible and give me as much notice as possible so that I can plan.
