I cannot recommend George highly enough. He is a first-class communicator and made learning a joy for my son. Extremely knowledgeable in his subject, he has the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. My son always enjoyed lessons with him and came out of each one better informed and with increased confidence in the subject.

George is a superb tutor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Not only is he fantastic with his subject knowledge, he is also very experienced with a range of SEND and was able to give my daughter advice on how to address problems with study skills caused by her ADHD. As an ex-teacher myself I really appreciate how well George has understood her needs and his ability to adapt to them. My daughter likes him immensely, finding him calm and patient and also very encouraging. Her confidence was at rock bottom when she started sessions with George, and she now feels so much better about herself and her studies. He is also wonderful at communication and organisation, responding very promptly and helpfully sending a reminder of each lesson. He even gave me advice and support on working with my daughter’s Educational Psychologist and her school. If you are looking for a tutor look no further, he really is brilliant!

George is a natural and talented tutor who gets on well with his students and is very good at motivating them. He is patient and fun and able to make the subject understandable. George was able to quickly assess our son’s abilities and determine where he needed help. It is to George’s credit that he returned for the second time at the request of our son.

At GCSE our son achieved A grades in all his Sciences and an A* in Maths which was a significant improvement on his mock results.

I can’t recommend George highly enough as a tutor. George is that rare person who not only knows his subjects in depth but has the ability to convey that knowledge in a fashion which can be absorbed and understood by the student. In addition to imparting subject matter, his teaching incorporates study methods, such as how to organise information and develop productive study methods. My children have learned important lessons on how to study from George that have been applied to other subjects as well.

When George taught my son Chemistry, he went from confusion to actually liking the subject (resulting in an A* in his GCSE — a previously unthinkable grade). George is now tutoring my daughter in Chemistry and Physics and, as with her brother, her frustrations have decreased and scores increased. I have recommended George to others whose children were struggling and they experienced similar success.

My honest opinion is that he is the right person with the right attitude to help the child excel by unlocking the full potential. George is highly organised and has in-depth knowledge of all three triple sciences (Physics, Biology and Chemistry) but also Mathematics. My son is doing the Triple Science and Higher Tier Mathematics for his GCSEs and we are extremely happy with the level of tuition George is able to provide.
